Based on our experience, there are better places to eat and we would have done better to stick to one course. My wife really enjoyed her turkey sandwich. In any event, the fries were cold when they arrived and when I got around to my burger it was cold and dry. Dessert is also sat there waiting for you. They seem to have a habit of serving all courses at the same time, so if you want to enjoy your starter then your main is going cold. Each singer was excellent and the room gives you a great opportunity to really experience their craft. There were quite a few empty tables at both ends of the room and which would not have given such a good view. It’s quite a large space inside and we were given good seats on a table with another couple right in line with middle of the stage giving us a great view of the performers. This is an excellent music venue within walking distance of Lower Broadway if you don’t mind a bit of a stroll. The cafe also has a separate room with a restaurant and bar. There’s usually a small cover charge per person, and you’re expected to order food and drinks during the show. You’ll hear everyone from new artists to hit singer-songwriters. Nashville has so many better restaurants than The Listening Room Cafe. The Listening Room Cafe is one of the venues keeping Nashville’s music scene strong. I recommend this place for the music but DO NOT EAT HERE! I really did expect much better especially after reading the reviews & looking at the website, which I now find to be deceiving. The three female singer songwriters on this night were excellent. We welcome tourist and locals to come enjoy a delicious dinner, amazing drinks and incredible music by new up-and-coming singer/songwriters as well as hear all the hits on our late shows by the world’s. A manager walked past so I conplained to him, to his credit he brought us fresh fries & tenders but really they should have much better quality control!!! The saving grace for this venue is the music. The Listening Room Cafe strives to provide the best singer/songwriter shows in Nashville as well as the best sounding room powered by BOSE. The fries were cold & you could have bounced them on the floor along with the overcooked tenders.

The cheeseburger was excellent but that's where it ends. We then ordered a cheeseburger & chicken tenders. We then ordered two meals to then be told they don't have the pork chop. However the food quality was terrible! We ordered a drink each only to be informed they were out of stock for one of them, which was still on the menu. Then we were told there's a minimum spend for food & bar of $15.00 again I was prepared to spend more than that on dinner & drinks. He plays an accoustic guitar, sings country music to soft rock and his own songs. Went on a Tuesday night, we were informed of a cover charge which I didn't mind.
